Graphite Machining Services, Inc. has been asked many times to help develop special tools to assist technicians in the Electronics and Photonics field. We have been very successful in designing and building custom work tools for a variety of applications requiring non-standard tooling.
The tool shown to the left was designed primarily as a collet chuck to hold Fiber Optic wires in a bonding application. The customer simply explained what he had to accomplish and we designed and submitted the cad data for his approval.
Today, We offer a wide variety of custom configurations to allow our customers the flexibility of using these tools in everyday production. We manufacture parts in Aluminum, Graphite, Copper impregnated graphite, Purified Graphite and Composite materials.
